This is what you can expect on your voyage with us:
- Responsible for the timely registration of ships at the ports of call and communication with port agents and authorities
- Responsible for ship’s clearance and document sovereignty
- Responsible for the smooth running of administration and control with regard to clearing and handling manifest data and sample station lists
- Responsible for the organization of check-ins (passport control, visa) and early check-outs (trip interruption, medical reasons) of guests
- Close cooperation with various departments on board (management, bridge, security, ship’s tour guide, guest services, shore excursion)
- Report to and deputize for the Chief Purser
- Contract duration of your first assignment: 4 months, subsequent follow-up contracts possible
What you bring on board:
- Completed training in the hotel industry or in the commercial sector
- Experience in a similar position
- Work experience on board a cruise ship
- You are reliable, able to work under pressure and enjoy taking on a lot of responsibility independently
- Excellent manners and a well-groomed appearance
- Very good IT skills
- Very good German and good English skills
