Your Job
Are you passionate about the restaurant industry, but are durian and halo-halo still foreign concepts to you? In your role on board, you’ll think outside the box and serve up experiences, not just meals:
- You’ll be the restaurant supervisor’s right-hand person, and together you’ll be responsible for ensuring that everything runs smoothly in your service area, which consists of several service stations.
- Assist with scheduling, orientation, training, and motivating the assigned waitstaff and senior waitstaff, including maintaining the necessary documentation
- Briefing your team on the respective menu
- Be present in the assigned restaurant during service hours
- Serve as the point of contact for guests regarding suggestions, recommendations, and feedback on service
- Contract duration for your first assignment: 5–6 months, with the possibility of subsequent contracts
- Your start date will be based on your availability in conjunction with the on-board scheduling and is generally possible year-round on any day of the month.
- Current assignments starting in fall/winter 2026
Your Course & Your Talents
Here’s what you bring to the table:
- You have completed training in the hotel or restaurant industry and/or have professional experience, ideally including some leadership experience.
- When your guests and team have questions, it’s important to you that you can answer them competently.
- You’re only satisfied when you feel that your guests have had a truly wonderful evening.
- You’re reliable and resilient, and you’re comfortable thinking outside the box.
- Organizing things on your own comes naturally to you, yet you’re also a true team player.
- As a communications professional, you have very good German and good English skills.
