We support the more than 56,500 students in the Stuttgart higher education region in their day-to-day student life with services such as meals, housing, child care, BAföG, and counseling. And we’ve been doing so for more than 100 years!
Why we need your support:
Together with your colleagues, you’ll give our cafeteria a “face” and create a welcoming atmosphere where students can enjoy one of the best parts of their college experience—break time.
You’ll prepare and set out our selection of items for sale, primarily light meals and beverages.
You’ll sell our products, interact with customers, and ideally boost sales.
You’ll handle the cash register and close out the register at the end of the day.
You’ll also wash dishes, clean equipment and surfaces, and follow our HACCP manual.
You’ll assist with receiving and inspecting goods and help with inventory counts.
What sets you apart:
You have professional experience in sales, preferably in the food industry.
You are well-versed in handling food and food safety (HACCP).
You enjoy interacting with guests and have German language skills at least at the B2 level, allowing you to converse confidently and read texts. You enjoy working with international customers and can also communicate in English.
In addition, you enjoy working as part of a team.
Furthermore, you are physically fit and able to lift, carry, and put away goods weighing more than 10 kg, for example.
You are also willing to participate in three to four evening events per year.
