Your Job
Here's what you can expect on your journey with us:
- Responsibility for all hotel operations, including supervising and coordinating the service, galley, hotel inventory control, and administrative departments
- Collaboration with shore-side management: all activities related to the professional management of hotel operations, hotel policies, standards, and procedures, cost and budget control, and service and vacation schedules for the hotel department
- Implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality standards and compliance with all relevant hygiene (HACCP), safety, and environmental regulations
- Responsibility for the careful handling of all equipment and machinery throughout the entire hotel operations
- Serving as the point of contact for passengers regarding inquiries, complaints, and suggestions throughout the hotel operations
- Motivating staff and ensuring that service is provided in a friendly and competent manner
- Planning, organizing, and delegating special functions within the hotel operations
Your Course & Your Talents
Here's what you bring to the table:
- Qualified training and a professional diploma in the hotel or restaurant industry
- Several years of practical experience in hotel operations (or internal training)
- Experience in handling customer complaints
- Business-level proficiency in English as well as a strong general education
- Leadership qualities, assertiveness, flexibility, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate others
- A self-assured, pleasant, and calm demeanor toward staff and passengers, with a well-groomed appearance
