Your Job

Here's what you can expect on your journey with us:

  • Responsibility for all hotel operations, including supervising and coordinating the service, galley, hotel inventory control, and administrative departments
  • Collaboration with shore-side management: all activities related to the professional management of hotel operations, hotel policies, standards, and procedures, cost and budget control, and service and vacation schedules for the hotel department
  • Implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality standards and compliance with all relevant hygiene (HACCP), safety, and environmental regulations
  • Responsibility for the careful handling of all equipment and machinery throughout the entire hotel operations
  • Serving as the point of contact for passengers regarding inquiries, complaints, and suggestions throughout the hotel operations
  • Motivating staff and ensuring that service is provided in a friendly and competent manner
  • Planning, organizing, and delegating special functions within the hotel operations

Your Course & Your Talents

Here's what you bring to the table:

  • Qualified training and a professional diploma in the hotel or restaurant industry
  • Several years of practical experience in hotel operations (or internal training)
  • Experience in handling customer complaints
  • Business-level proficiency in English as well as a strong general education
  • Leadership qualities, assertiveness, flexibility, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate others
  • A self-assured, pleasant, and calm demeanor toward staff and passengers, with a well-groomed appearance
  • Cost and quality awareness
