Stuttgarter Kolpinghäuser e.V. is a nonprofit youth housing provider affiliated with the Kolping Society.
The organization operates two youth residential facilities in Stuttgart with a total of approximately 400 beds. The Kolpinghäuser in Stuttgart primarily provide housing for apprentices, but also serve as guesthouses and conference centers. The demands on the food service department are correspondingly diverse. In addition to providing communal meals for residents, the scope of responsibilities includes the public lunch service and in-house event catering. Here, you will work closely with our kitchen management team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Management and further development of the housekeeping department as Head of Housekeeping
Management of staff, including scheduling and assignment planning
Responsibility for conference and event operations (room planning, catering, coordination)
Coordination of the service area in the cafeteria, including the public lunch service
Responsibility for building and room cleaning (housekeeping/maintenance cleaning) and laundry management (in-house cleaning service and in-house laundry/linens supply)
Coordinating and overseeing department-specific inventory management
Organizing and ensuring smooth workflows in housekeeping operations with the goal of high service and supply quality and cost-effectiveness
Responsibility for maintaining and further developing quality standards, for implementing hygiene standards as the hygiene officer, and for complying with legal requirements

Your personal and professional qualifications:

Completed training in housekeeping management or a comparable qualification
You have in-depth knowledge of housekeeping organization—ideally, you have experience as a housekeeping manager.
We are looking for a dedicated and responsible individual. You work independently, diligently, and reliably.
You have the ability to structure workflows and processes effectively and in a goal-oriented manner.
Proficient and confident use of standard MS Office applications.
You are characterized by a confident, friendly, and service-oriented demeanor, as well as the ability to work well in a team.
You can identify with the mission statement of the Kolping Society and the goals of the Stuttgart Kolping Houses.
A Class B driver’s license is a plus
