The Tübingen Regional Council has a wide range of tasks in the areas of environmental protection and nature conservation, energy transition, climate protection, mobility and transport, education, healthcare, migration, agriculture, market surveillance and many other forward-looking topics.
Your tasks
Support, strategic further development and project development in the area of “Integration of biosphere products in tourism”
Initiating and collaborating on projects to implement product marketing in tourism
Support, strategic further development and project development within the scope of the “Sustainable tourism” field of action, including support for an industry network of the partner initiative
Cooperation with tourism organizations at federal, state and regional level; participation in events and meetings
Awarding and supporting the creation of marketing materials and other marketing activities; participation in trade fairs
Initiation and support of projects within the framework of the Swabian Alb biosphere region funding program
We reserve the right to assign further or other tasks.
Your qualifications
A completed university degree (university diploma, Master’s degree) in tourism, geography or comparable subjects.
In the case of a degree obtained at a university of applied sciences, a university of cooperative education or an equivalent educational institution, proof of accreditation of the degree program at the time of graduation must be provided
Sound knowledge and experience in the field of sustainable tourism development and regional management as well as marketing
Experience in dealing with municipalities, entrepreneurs and service providers
Knowledge of the region and the tourism, association and administrative structures in the area surrounding the biosphere reserve
Open-mindedness for the interests of nature conservation and environmental protection and for other topics of the Swabian Alb biosphere area
Experience in project management
The ability to think conceptually and strategically and a results-oriented way of working
Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary and networked manner
Organizational talent and a wealth of ideas
Above-average commitment, high social competence and ability to work in a team
Communication skills and a confident manner
Confident command of at least the English language
Ability to work under pressure and willingness to attend evening and weekend appointments
Experienced handling of common MS Office applications
Driving license class 3 or B and the provision of a private car for business trips against reimbursement of costs.
