Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your journey with us:
- In this role, you’ll be independently responsible for managing a restaurant with up to 200 guests and 30 crew members during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, and you’ll report to the maître d’hôtel.
- You’ll assist the Maitre d’Hotel with scheduling and assigning the service crew, and you’ll serve as the deputy.
- You will lead your team both professionally and in disciplinary matters, fostering an open culture of feedback and harmonious interactions.
- As the point of contact for your service area, you’ll regularly make yourself available to guests and the crew.
- You are always available to listen to guests’ questions, suggestions, feedback, and reservation issues.
- Term of your first contract: 4–6 months (to be determined on an individual basis)
Your Course & Your Talents
What you bring to the table:
- Training in the restaurant/hotel industry, as well as initial professional experience in a leadership role in upscale dining
- Excellent expertise in the culinary field as well as in beverages and wine, which you enjoy sharing with your team
- A natural leader with the ability to guide and motivate a team both professionally and in terms of discipline
- A well-groomed appearance and excellent manners
- Very good German and good English skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
