Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your journey with us:
- You’ll be responsible for preparing all baked goods (bread, rolls, croissants, etc.) on board and will report to the Chef de Cuisine.
- Every day, you’ll use fresh ingredients and dough you’ve prepared yourself to create baked goods for the guests and the crew.
- You’ll record and order the ingredients you need using the ship’s inventory management system.
- For special evenings, events, and special requests, you’ll whip up themed baked goods in your bakery.
- You will coordinate and supervise your assistant according to the schedule.
- Term of your first contract: 3–6 months (or as mutually agreed upon)
Your Course & Your Talents
What you bring to the table:
- Completed training as a baker and experience working in a bakery
- Excellent knowledge of food science
- Your own recipe book, complete with your own creations, will bring a breath of fresh air to the team.
- You’re reliable and resilient, and you’re comfortable thinking outside the box.
- Getting up early and organizing your own workday don’t throw you off balance.
- A neat and professional appearance, as well as excellent manners
- Very good German and English language skills
