Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your journey with us:
- Operational management of several bars on board in consultation with the F&B Service Manager and team
- Overall responsibility for the smooth operation of the assigned bars and the associated administrative tasks
- Professional and disciplinary leadership of the entire bar team
- Serving as the primary point of contact for your bar team and creating work schedules
- Responsibility for monitoring, ordering, and taking inventory of all spirits and luxury food items
- On-site presence in the bars during service hours and serving as the primary point of contact for guests
- Contract duration for your first assignment: 5–6 months; subsequent contracts are possible
Your Course & Your Talents
What you bring to the table:
- Training in the restaurant/hotel industry, as well as experience as a bartender, bar attendant, or in a similar role; experience working aboard a cruise ship is preferred
- A broad knowledge of cocktails and spirits, which you enjoy sharing with your team
- Organizational skills and strong leadership abilities
- A resilient, reliable, and motivated personality with a hands-on approach
- A well-groomed appearance and excellent manners
- Very good German and good English skills
- Good computer skills (use of the point-of-sale system, cost calculations, placing orders)
