Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your journey with us:
- In consultation with the maître d’hôtel, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of all bars on board.
- In addition, as a bartender, you will independently manage one of these bars.
- You are the primary point of contact for your bar team and create the shift schedules.
- You are responsible for ordering supplies, conducting inventory, and monitoring all spirits in the ship’s inventory management system.
- You will be responsible for helping to organize various events (e.g., BBQs, pool parties, theater performances).
- Contract duration of your first contract: 4–6 months (subject to individual agreement)
Your Course & Your Talents
What you bring to the table:
- Training in the (upscale) restaurant/hotel industry, as well as experience as a bartender, public room manager, or banquet manager with expertise in the bar
- A broad knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits, which you enjoy sharing
- Organizational skills and strong leadership abilities
- A resilient, reliable, and motivated personality with a hands-on approach
- A well-groomed appearance and excellent manners
- Very good German and good English skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
