Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your trip with us:
- You’ll be assigned to one or more of the three gourmet restaurants.
- In consultation with the sous chef, you’ll independently manage your assigned station in the kitchen.
- You’ll create culinary dishes and menus using high-quality and exclusive ingredients.
- Depending on your role, you’ll have the opportunity to prepare dishes right at the guest’s table (including filleting, carving, and grilling meat).
- Depending on your station, you’ll coordinate and motivate the team assigned to you.
- Term of your first contract: 5–6 months (to be determined on an individual basis)
- Your start date will be determined by individual agreement based on your availability in conjunction with the on-board work schedule and is generally possible year-round.
Your Course & Your Talents
What you bring to the table:
- Completed training as a chef (w⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) in fine dining with professional experience
- Initial experience managing a station is desirable
- You keep a clear head—even when things get hectic.
- A passion for the creative preparation of culinary dishes
- Excellent manners, a well-groomed appearance, and hospitality skills
- You’re ready to take on your first leadership responsibilities.
- Very good German and good English skills
