Your Job
Here’s what to expect on your journey with us:
- Under the guidance of the head waiter/restaurant manager and in collaboration with the commis de rang, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that everything runs smoothly at your service station.
- Rotating assignments and shifts in one of the restaurants or at the bars, as scheduled
- First point of contact for your guests
- Taking orders and entering them into the ordering system
- Contract duration for your first assignment: 5–6 months; subsequent contracts are possible
- Your start date will be based on your availability in conjunction with the on-board work schedule and is generally possible year-round.
Your Course & Your Talents
Here’s what you bring to the table:
- You’re ready to take on your first leadership responsibilities.
- Ideally, you have experience in the restaurant, bar, or hotel industry and can manage a service station independently.
- Digital point-of-sale systems don’t throw you off.
- You’re reliable, resilient, and have no trouble staying service-oriented even in stressful situations.
- You feel most comfortable working as part of a team.
- You have very good German and good English skills and have no trouble communicating in both languages.
