Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your journey with us:
- You’ll be the decision-maker and head of the entire pastry department, reporting to the Executive Sous Chef
- Preparation of all desserts in up to 12 restaurants
- Creating exclusive culinary experiences for various occasions
- Providing professional and disciplinary leadership to your team
- Regular presence to support the crew and guests
- Contract duration for your first assignment: 4 months; subsequent contracts possible
- Your promotion will be based on your availability in relation to the on-board work schedule and is generally possible year-round.
Your Course & Your Talents
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
- Completed training as a chef, pastry chef, or similar, as well as several years of experience managing a pastry department
- Additional qualifications (such as sugar pulling or creating display pieces) are a plus
- Excellent expertise in the culinary arts and food science, which you’re eager to share with your team.
- You are reliable and resilient, and you’re comfortable thinking outside the box.
- A leader with the ability to guide and motivate a team both professionally and in terms of discipline
- A well-groomed appearance and excellent manners
- Very good command of German and English
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
