The state of Rhineland-Palatinate is looking for a cook at the Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium in Kaiserslautern at the earliest possible date
Cook (m/f/d)
for employment in a permanent Part-time employment with an average of 25 hours of 39 hours per week or 25 hours of 38.5 hours per week in shift work
Areas of responsibility:
- Catering for pupils and boarders
- Purchasing goods, costing and warehouse logistics
- Creating the menu from a costing perspective and compliance with DGE guidelines
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Setting up work processes and planning the deployment of staff
- Reserve samples
- Compliance with HACCP guidelines
- Cleaning the kitchen area in accordance with hygiene regulations
We expect you to have completed vocational training as a chef, preferably with professional experience. You should have good communication skills in dealing with students, teachers and parents. Physical and mental resilience, initiative, independent work, the ability to cooperate and the ability to work in a team are required.
A willingness to work flexible hours and to work on weekends, public holidays and during vacations is required.
