Your Job
Is versatility your greatest talent, and do you want that in your job, too? As a costume assistant with stage presence (w⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) at sea chefs, you can expect not only a varied role on the entertainment team—but also the chance to dive into the world of seafaring!
- Care and preparation of costumes, makeup, and wigs
- Repairing and altering costumes
- Preparing for and following up on shows
- Setting up costume changes and presets
- Appearing on stage as part of the show in the provided stage outfit, as well as engaging in brief interactions with guests
- Assisting with the ensemble’s makeup and hairstyling
- Assisting with quick changes
- Managing and ordering supplies
- Writing reports
Your Course & Your Talents
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
- Completed tailoring training / Proof of excellent tailoring skills
- Experience as a dresser or wardrobe assistant
- Experience working with stage performers; knowledge of burlesque shows is a plus
- Willingness to interact with guests
- A flair for the stage and knowledge of stage operations and processes during a show
- Experience with makeup, hairstyling, and wigs is desirable
- Organizational skills and the ability to work well with others
- Basic knowledge of German as well as good written and spoken English skills
