We, the Congress- und Tourismus- Zentrale, market Bavaria's second largest destination in the field of city tourism as well as in the meeting and congress business at home and abroad. A good 40 employees in the Marketing, Convention, Service and Communications departments work as a strong team to ensure that Nuremberg and its special offers for national and international guests are made known worldwide. What awaits you: You will support our service team on a part-time basis in both Tourist Information Offices at Hauptmarkt and Handwerkerhof as well as at our mobile Tourist Information (Info-Bike) Your tasks include: Competent and personal advice about Nuremberg and the tourist offer Selling souvenirs, tickets and other tourist products Ensuring an attractive presentation of goods Maintenance of the salesroom Checking the stock of goods Training and guidance of temporary staff Arranging rooms Answering e-mails and telephone calls Carrying out daily closing tasks active participation in team meetings for the further development of the Tourist Information Assisting with special events What you bring with you: completed vocational training or a university degree comprehensive knowledge of Nuremberg business fluent knowledge of the German language very good foreign language skills in English good knowledge of a second foreign language Professional experience in the service sector is an advantage distinctive service orientation and enjoyment of consulting and selling Ability to work under pressure and professionalism even with a high workload Reliable work in a team Flexibility in working hours IT skills in common web applications and the MS Office package are an advantage This is what we offer you: a part-time position (20-30 hours), assignment according to duty roster, also on weekends and holidays Start date from November 1, 2023 a 2-year contract Payment according to TVöD VKA pay group 6 (in addition to collectively agreed bonuses, annual bonus, company pension scheme) Company subscription for public transport Employee ID card with attractive discounts in the travel industry Jobbike leasing Would you like to support us with your commitment?
