Your tasks
You are the central point of contact for our cash register systems and the connected merchandise management system. You ensure that our systems are stable, that data is correctly maintained and that our stores can operate smoothly in their day-to-day business. The role combines system administration with application-related support: you think systemically, develop structures further and at the same time support operational employees with questions about usage.
Administration and maintenance of our checkout systems and merchandise management
Support for all questions relating to checkout systems – on the system side and in the application
Master data maintenance: creating, delisting and updating articles
Maintenance of prices, recipes and article structures in the merchandise management system
Ensuring the correct connection between the POS system and merchandise management system
Creating evaluations of articles, sales and goods movements
Further development and optimization of merchandise management, taking into account legal requirements
Close cooperation with product management, specialist departments and external service providers
Support with system updates and further developments
Your qualifications
Experience with cash register systems, POS or merchandise management systems is mandatory
Commercial training or comparable professional experience
Ideally knowledge of the catering, hotel or retail industry
Understanding of articles, prices, calculations and flow of goods
Structured and meticulous approach to master data maintenance
Service orientation and enjoy supporting operational staff
Basic technical understanding and system affinity
