- As the chef’s right-hand man, you will be independently responsible for the organization of all outlets on board.
- Support in the preparation of the duty roster and the allocation of the galley crew
- Recording and ordering ingredients in the ship’s own merchandise management system
- Creation of suitable taste experiences for special occasions
- Contact person for the galley area and regular presence for crew and guests
- Professional and disciplinary management of the sous chefs
- Contract duration of your first assignment: 4 months, subsequent follow-up contracts possible
What you bring on board:
- Completed training as a chef (f⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) and professional experience in a management position in upscale gastronomy and/or on a cruise ship desirable
- Very good knowledge of the gastronomy sector and food science, which you are also happy to pass on to your team
- You are reliable and resilient and have no problem thinking outside the box.
- Leadership personality with the ability to lead and motivate a team in both professional and disciplinary terms
- Well-groomed appearance and excellent manners
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Familiar with MS Office applications
