!This is what awaits you on your journey with us:
- As the right hand of the head chef, you are independently responsible for the organization of all outlets on board.
- Supporting the preparation of the duty roster and the allocation of the galley crew
- Recording and ordering ingredients in the ship's own merchandise management system
- Creating suitable taste experiences for special occasions
- ;
- Contact person for the galley area and regular presence for crew and guests
- Technical and disciplinary guidance of the sous chefs
- Contract duration of your first assignment: 4 months, subsequent follow-up contracts possible
This is what you bring on board:
- Completed training as a chef (f/m/d) as well as professional experience in a management position in upscale gastronomy and/or on a cruise ship desirable
- Very good specialist knowledge in the gastronomy sector as well as in food science, which you are also happy to pass on to your team.
- You are reliable and resilient and have no problem thinking outside the box.
- Managerial personality with the ability to lead and motivate a team professionally and disciplinary
- Groomed appearance and excellent manners
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Familiar with MS Office applications
