Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your trip with us:
- Responsible for the timely registration of ships at the ports of call, as well as communication with port agents and authorities
- Responsible for ship clearance and document management
- Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of administrative and control processes regarding customs clearance and the handling of manifest data and crew lists
- Responsible for organizing guest check-ins (passport control, visas) and early check-outs (trip cancellation, medical reasons)
- Close collaboration with various departments on board (management, bridge, security, cruise directors, guest services, shore excursions)
- Reports to and serves as deputy to the Chief Purser
- Contract duration for your first assignment: 4 months; subsequent contracts are possible
Your Course & Your Talents
What you bring to the table:
- Completed training in the hospitality industry or in a business-related field
- Experience in a similar position
- Work experience aboard a cruise ship
- You are reliable, resilient, and enjoy taking on a lot of responsibility independently.
- Excellent manners and a well-groomed appearance
- Very good computer skills
- Very good German and good English skills
