Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your journey with us:
- You’ll be a decision-maker with overall responsibility for ensuring everything runs smoothly at the reception desk, in the X-Lounge, and in guest services. You’ll report to the Chief Purser.
- While on duty at the reception desk, you’ll serve as the point of contact for guests’ concerns and feedback
- Lead, coordinate, and motivate your team of up to 10 crew members
- Assisting with the care of fellow passengers and bereaved family members, as well as handling medical emergencies
- Contract duration for your first assignment: 4–5 months; subsequent contracts are possible
Your Course & Your Talents
What you bring to the table:
- Professional training in the hospitality, food service, or tourism industry, including several years of work experience in a similar position
- Work experience aboard a cruise ship is required
- A leader with the ability to guide your team both professionally and in terms of discipline
- Experience in complaint management and guest relations/customer service in the tourism industry is preferred
- A confident and composed demeanor, excellent manners, and a very well-groomed appearance
- Excellent organizational skills and strong communication skills
- Very good command of German and English
