Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your trip with us:
- As a host, you’ll be independently responsible for managing a restaurant with approximately 50 guests.
- During service hours, you’ll be present in your assigned restaurant and serve as the primary point of contact for your guests and your team.
- To ensure that service runs smoothly, you’ll be responsible for scheduling, orienting, training, and motivating the chefs and commis de rang assigned to you.
- You’ll support the Assistant Maitre d’ in day-to-day operations and scheduling, and serve as their substitute.
- You’ll always be available to your guests for suggestions, ideas, and feedback.
- Term of your first contract: 4–6 months (subject to individual agreement)
Your Course & Your Talents
Here’s what you bring to the table:
- You have completed training in the hotel or restaurant industry and have professional experience in a leadership role, such as head waiter or restaurant manager, and possess extensive industry and technical knowledge.
- You’re passionate about hospitality and have excellent manners.
- You’re only satisfied when your guests have had a truly wonderful evening.
- You’re reliable and resilient, and you’re comfortable thinking outside the box.
- Your leadership skills inspire your team.
- Very good German and English skills round out your profile.
