We operate Germany's highest research station on the Zugspitze, offering a globally unique platform for research and experimentation in the fields of high-altitude and climate research.
Your responsibilities:
Event management (planning, organization, preparing proposals)
Guest services, including conference room and room management
Organization of catering
Transportation coordination and management of passenger transport (cable car)
Organization of regular supply and waste removal trips to and from the Schneefernerhaus
Coordination of building cleaning (creation of cleaning schedules)
Invoice verification for guest services, events, and transportation
General office tasks (e.g., ordering office and cleaning supplies)
Your qualifications:
You have completed training as a hotel manager or equivalent
Ideally, you have already gained several years of professional experience
You are accustomed to working independently, are flexible, versatile, hands-on, able to handle pressure, enjoy interacting with people from all over the world, and are looking for a challenging and varied role in a high-alpine setting
Proficiency in computer programs, particularly MS Office, is a given for you
You are fluent in German; very good English skills are preferred
