The Catholic Academy Schwerte is a research and further education institution of the Archdiocese of Paderborn. The building has 70 beds, mainly in single rooms, and lecture and seminar rooms for up to 200 day guests as well as appropriate catering facilities. The academy holds around 250 of its own conferences a year and offers its conference facilities to around 600 guest organizers for their conferences.
Your tasks
Planning and economically optimized control of room and meeting room occupancy
Processing occupancy inquiries, creating contracts and maintaining reservation data in Sihot as well as processing cancellations
Coordinating guest conferences, including special requests, technical requirements and coordination with internal departments
Communicating with external event organizers and internal study managers as well as creating and maintaining relevant documents and conference files
Carrying out support activities for the Academy’s conference center management
Your qualifications
You have completed vocational training as a hotel specialist or other commercial vocational training
You have a well-structured and self-organized way of working, which is rounded off by commitment and reliability
You have a confident and friendly manner when dealing with guests and enjoy working in a team
You keep an overview even in hectic phases and look forward to giving the Catholic Academy Schwerte a welcoming atmosphere and are willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
You have a positive attitude and openness towards the message of the Gospel and can identify with the goals and values of the Catholic Church
