The Episcopal Academy of the Diocese of Aachen offers educational and discussion programs on socially relevant issues in the fields of theology, natural, political and social sciences, culture and ethics. In the associated conference center with its 51 guest rooms as well as conference and seminar rooms, the occupancy management, housekeeping, kitchen and service teams ensure function and hospitality for visitors to the academy as well as overnight guests and guests of external events.
Your tasks
Warm welcome and care for guests from arrival to check-out
Personal support for our guests and event managers during their stay
Providing information and support to our guests and event managers during their stay at the hotel
Responsibility for occupancy management: from reservations to service planning for the conference center to contract preparation.
Networking and coordination of all service departments involved in the house, such as kitchen, housekeeping, technology
Administrative tasks in the front office: creating invoices, collecting fees, maintaining guest and booking data
Inspection rounds through the house at the end of the day
Your qualifications
Completed training as a hotel specialist or comparable training in tourism)
Positive charisma as a cordial host with excellent manners and a pronounced service orientation
Experience in the hotel, catering or tourism industry
Ability to work under pressure and aplomb even in stressful situations
Organizational talent with a feel for capacity utilization, occupancy and processes
Enjoy working in a team
Very good written and spoken German
Additional foreign language skills are a plus
Confident handling of common hotel software, ideally previous experience in „AkademieManager“
Willingness to work shifts between 7 am and 10 pm in a 6-day week from Monday to Sunday (no night shift)
