Caritasverband für die Stadt Bonn e.V. is the local welfare organization of the Catholic Church. With more than 1,100 employees, we offer support for people in the areas of children, youth and family, integration and rehabilitation as well as living and housing in old age and illness in line with our motto „Seeing need and acting“. In our more than 60 different facilities and services, we support people according to their personal life situation. As a partner to urban society, we actively promote social interaction and social participation for all people in the federal city of Bonn.
The area of living and housing in old age and illness includes the four outpatient Caritas care stations, day care and the three inpatient retirement and care homes. In addition, we offer counseling and meeting services for senior citizens, assisted living and other services in housekeeping and dementia care.
We are looking for a successor for the inpatient care for the elderly from 01.02.2026
Your tasks
Management of housekeeping with the areas of house cleaning and laundry as well as kitchen and building services
Implementation and assurance of quality standards
Ongoing review of work processes
Preparation of deployment and vacation planning
Management of subordinate employees
Implementation of hygiene regulations
Budget responsibility
Your qualifications
completed training as a housekeeping supervisor, housekeeping manager, hotel and restaurant manager, housekeeping manager or equivalent
Additional training as a hygiene specialist/ officer desirable
Experience in house cleaning, laundry and communal catering
Management experience desirable
professional, economic and organizational skills
Experience and pleasure in taking responsibility for personnel and budgets
Interest and pleasure in dealing with elderly people and people in need of care, their relatives and guests of the house
Social skills and ability to work in a team
Knowledge and confidence in implementing legal and hygiene regulations
sound IT skills
