The Mönchhof Forest Academy was officially opened in March 2023. Previously, a traditional school hostel was operated here. The main target groups of the forest academy are school classes, clubs, organizations as well as course and seminar operations. The educational focus is on nature, culture and taste. The Waldakademie kitchen is certified organic and aims to provide regional taste experiences.
Your tasks
By helping to prepare meals in the school dormitory
By serving meals and cleaning the dining hall and kitchen
By cleaning the dormitories and group rooms when there is a change of occupancy as well as regular basic cleaning
By assisting with events or seminars at the forest academy
Your qualifications
With your completed training in housekeeping (desirable)
With your already completed food hygiene training (an advantage) or your willingness to undergo food hygiene training
With your experience in canteen kitchens and catering as well as in the area of responsibility described above (desirable)
With your careful handling of food intolerances and your sense of cleanliness and tidiness
With your good organizational skills and your ability to adapt to new circumstances
With your sense of responsibility and reliability as well as your high level of motivation
With your pronounced customer orientation and enjoyment in dealing with people of all ages and cultures
With your willingness to work evenings and weekends and your willingness to adapt your working hours and vacation times to the school camp’s workload
With your willingness to be vaccinated against measles and to present a measles vaccination certificate, if required by the Measles Protection Act
