DEHOGA has approximately 12,000 member businesses statewide. All types of hospitality businesses are represented, from large hotels to small taverns, and from gourmet restaurants to bars. DEHOGA advocates for fair competition and works to reduce bureaucracy and unnecessarily high costs for businesses in the hospitality industry. It also works to enhance the industry’s reputation and promotes training in the hospitality and hotel sectors. As the representative of employers in the hospitality industry, DEHOGA negotiates collective bargaining agreements. Your Responsibilities
With your expertise in business administration and industry-specific knowledge, you will support our DEHOGA consultants in content development; for example, with general content templates such as checklists, guidelines, and calculation tools, as well as digital content—e.g., related to startup projects, hygiene protocols, or ESG measures. You will be responsible for regularly verifying that this content is up to date and updating it as needed
After intensive training, you will independently conduct digital business audits with and for clients
You will support DEHOGA consultants in individual consultations and consulting reports by providing in-depth business analyses, market observations, economic calculations, and financing plans, and you will accompany them to client meetings for selected (large-scale) projects
You will develop and expand your personal expertise in hospitality management, actively build networks, and enjoy sharing your knowledge and skills—for example, by delivering presentations and keynote speeches
You will work very closely with the management of DEHOGA Consulting on the content and further development of consulting services
In addition, you will support the administrative team in client communications
Your Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: You have completed vocational training in the hotel and hospitality industry and/or gained professional experience in the restaurant industry, and you hold a business administration qualification, such as a degree in Hotel Management (m/f/d), a degree in economics or a degree in hotel, restaurant, and tourism management, or similar.
DIGITALLY SAVVY: You are up to date with the latest trends, already work with AI tools, and have excellent knowledge of MS Excel
ORGANIZED: You have a proven track record of working in an organized manner and possess the ability to prepare content methodically and flawlessly
QUALIFIED: You have a very good overview of the industry and (initial) leadership experience in the hospitality sector. Business administration and industry-specific topics are particularly close to your heart
TEAM- AND CUSTOMER-ORIENTED: You are empathetic, socially competent, and service-oriented
