Your tasks
Coordinating and monitoring work processes in the kitchen as well as developing and initiating measures to optimize the structural and process organization and quality assurance
Leading, motivating and supporting a kitchen team of approx. 15 employees, including organizing the duty roster and supervising and taking responsibility for the training of apprentices
Creating menus taking into account the overall concept of the conference center and seasonal conditions as well as taking on a key role in implementing the Liborianum’s sustainability concept
Creating and documenting new recipes, purchasing and ordering goods for the kitchen and checking incoming goods and stock levels
Calculating catering prices in day-to-day business and for special events, taking into account the specified use of goods
Your qualifications
You are a certified chef with training qualifications and have knowledge and experience in hotel catering
You have knowledge of hygiene and occupational health and safety regulations and know how to continuously instruct and motivate employees and also enjoy working in a team
You work independently, reliably, conscientiously and cooperatively and keep an overview even in hectic phases
You have a confident, friendly and customer-oriented manner and are willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
You have a positive attitude and openness towards the message of the Gospel and can identify with the goals and values of the Catholic Church
