Founded in 1995, Allwetterbad der Stadt Monheim am Rhein GmbH (AWB) is a municipal company that is part of the Monheimer Versorgungs- und Verkehrs GmbH group. With the Mona-Mare leisure pool, the AWB not only offers the Monheim population a modern leisure facility that is constantly being developed: in 2018, the sauna area was extensively expanded and the AWB is currently investing 45 million euros in the redesign of the swimming and catering facilities on 7,000 square meters. Upon completion and reopening in the second half of 2025, the Mona-Mare leisure pool will offer a wave pool, a saltwater pool, several new large slides and many other highlights.

Your tasks
Professional, personnel and organizational management of the redesigned Mona-Mare leisure pool
Motivating and team-building management of around 30 employees
Efficient operational management and long-term strategic development of the Mona-Mare leisure pool
Development and implementation of new, forward-looking marketing strategies
Your qualifications
Successfully completed studies, e.g. in the field of business administration, tourism or sports management or comparable training
Proven business management knowledge and experience
Several years of professional experience, e.g. in the service sector, preferably in the leisure, tourism or pool sector
Several years of management experience and strong leadership skills based on this experience
As a strong communicator with a confident manner, you are always able to act in the interests of the company by making transparent decisions and finding a solution-oriented way of dealing with different expectations and target groups. Your business understanding and entrepreneurial know-how enable you to act in a results- and service-oriented manner. As an appreciative and committed manager, you create a basis for trusting and motivating cooperation. Strong organizational skills and extensive digital skills, including the confident use of social media, round off your profile.
