Since the completion of our opening cascade from April to October 2024, we have been igniting new ideas in our Bergson Kunstkraftwerk in Munich-Aubing, we have been setting off a firework display of concerts, art, culture, culinary delights, academy events, corporate events and private celebrations on the entire 20,000 m². With a lot of passion, innovative spirit and agility, we have successfully developed into Munich’s new cultural hotspot with 200,000 visitors and almost 200 employees (as of February 2025).

with a focus on gastronomy, in-house event catering and convention & events

Your tasks
Overall responsibility and strategic management
You will have overall responsibility for the management and success of the establishment – with responsibility for the results of the catering and convention & event divisions. You will report directly to the owners of the Munich parent company and work with the other two managing directors to develop long-term strategies for positioning Bergson Kunstkraftwerk as a leading art, culture, gastronomy and event location – including strategic marketing management for even better visibility and utilization of our venue.
Concept optimization and quality management in gastronomy
From small delicacies at our Anima day bar (PAX 100) to signature food & drinks in our live club Barbastelle (PAX 90) and modern delicacies in our beer garden (PAX 500) to casual fine dining in the Zeitlang restaurant (PAX 90) with its bar (PAX 30) and terrace (PAX 130): Taking KPIs into account, you will further develop our innovative concepts for the various gastronomy outlets, ensure the quality of cuisine and service and thus provide first-class culinary moments of pleasure that inspire our guests and invite them to return.
Culinary and economic optimization of our event business
Whether 50 or 1,500 guests – whether company celebrations, conferences, trade fairs, product presentations, symposia, weddings or a full house at concerts, artsy parties, an academy event or a vernissage: you perfect our services and offers as an exceptional event location, including our first-class in-house event catering. You will not only ensure that enjoyment, quality and service are the focus of every event, but also that financial success is guaranteed.
Process optimization and organizational development
With strategic vision and a pragmatic approach, you will continue to develop and expand our structures, optimize processes and set new standards for quality, effectiveness and efficiency.
Leadership with passion and vision
You are the heart and head of our catering units and our Convention & Event division. You lead the entire Bergson team to peak performance, ensure the smooth running of our hotel on a daily basis and provide a quality of stay and service that delights guests and employees alike.
Networking and representation
You represent Bergson Kunstkraftwerk to the outside world, maintain relationships with partner companies, suppliers and guests and continuously expand our network.
What you bring with you
- Several years of successful management experience from the front row in an upscale hospitality business, preferably with large volumes or several outlets and preferably from the environment of medium-sized structures or start-ups
- A successfully completed, relevant degree and/or qualified training and further education in the hotel industry, gastronomy, event management or hospitality management
- Convincing success in the optimization of processes and structures
- A passion for culinary delights, top-class events and hospitality – combined with outstanding qualities as a host and an excellent feel for the needs of our guests
- Strategic thinking and entrepreneurial action as well as pragmatism, solution orientation and organizational skills
- A very confident demeanor, agility, enthusiasm, strong communication skills, empathy and a modern, inspiring way of leading employees
- Excellent German (native speaker or C2) and fluency in English
