Your job
This is what awaits you on your journey with us:
- Responsible for the development and management of wine service, storage and ordering in all F&B outlets
- Maintaining and co-designing the wine and champagne list
- Creating wine recommendations for the menus in all F&B outlets and briefing the wine stewards
- Conducting and moderating all wine tastings on board
- Sales promotion measures to achieve the sales targets of the F&B outlets
- Contract duration of your first assignment: 5 – 6 months, subsequent follow-up contracts possible
- Your start will be based on your availability in connection with the deployment planning on board and is generally possible all year round.
Your course & your talents
What you bring on board:
- Appropriate qualification (e.g. certification as a sommelier, training as a winemaker, restaurant specialist or similar) or experience as a sommelier, wine waiter or similar.
- Comprehensive knowledge of wines and regions of the different grape varieties
- Strong knowledge of the harmony of beverages with luxury foods (food pairing)
- High service orientation
- Good IT skills (use of the cash register system, calculations, orders)
- Very good knowledge of German and English
