Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your journey with us:
- In this role, you will be independently responsible for managing an outlet in the galley serving up to 180 guests and up to 15 crew members during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, reporting to the Chef de Cuisine.
- You will assist the Chef de Cuisine with scheduling and assigning the galley crew, and serve as their deputy.
- You will lead your team both professionally and in terms of discipline, fostering an open culture of feedback and harmonious interactions.
- You oversee the preparation of all daily meals and menus, as well as their visual presentation.
- During service hours, you will be present in the galley and coordinate your team.
- Contract duration of your first contract: 4–6 months (subject to individual agreement)
Your Course & Your Talents
What you bring to the table:
- Completed training as a chef (w⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) and initial professional experience in a leadership role in fine dining
- Excellent expertise in the culinary field and food science, which you are eager to share with your team.
- You are reliable and resilient, and you’re comfortable thinking outside the box.
- A natural leader with the ability to guide and motivate a team both professionally and in terms of discipline
- A well-groomed appearance and excellent manners
- Excellent command of German and English
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
