Your Job
Here's what you can expect on your journey with us:
- In this role, you’ll be independently responsible for managing an outlet in the galley serving up to 300 guests and up to 20 crew members during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, and you’ll report to the Chef de Cuisine.
- You’ll assist the Chef de Cuisine with scheduling and assigning the galley crew, and serve as his or her deputy.
- You will lead your team both professionally and in disciplinary matters, fostering an open culture of feedback and harmonious working relationships.
- You oversee the preparation of all daily dishes and menus, as well as their visual presentation.
- During service hours, you’ll be present in the galley and coordinate your team.
- Contract duration for your first contract: 4–6 months (to be determined on an individual basis)
Your Course & Your Talents
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
- Completed culinary training (w⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) and initial professional experience in a leadership role in upscale dining
- Excellent expertise in the restaurant industry and food science, which you’re eager to share with your team.
- You’re reliable and resilient, and you’re comfortable thinking outside the box.
- A natural leader with the ability to guide and motivate a team both professionally and disciplinarily
- A well-groomed appearance and excellent manners
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
