The Worms Vocational Training Center, an institution of the Rhineland-Palatinate Regional Association of the German Red Cross, is the largest educational institution for the vocational rehabilitation and qualification of young people in Rheinhessen. More than 400 young people between the ages of 16 and 28 with special support needs are currently completing dual training and school qualifications with the aim of being integrated into the primary labor market.
Your tasks
Management responsibility for the assigned employees and active participation in the daily production and training process of young people with learning disabilities and multiple disabilities
Management of the organizational process of catering as well as planning and implementation of special events (personnel planning, buffet planning)
Menu planning as well as pre- and post-calculation, responsibility for the use of goods, optimization of internal work processes
Coordination of cleaning work with external companies
Responsibility for the procurement of goods, including ordering, incoming goods inspection, storage and the processing of incoming goods in the further administrative process
Implementation and monitoring of all food, labor law and occupational safety regulations
Constructive and collegial cooperation with other work areas
Your qualifications
Training as a chef or qualification as a master chef or comparable qualification
Additional qualification in rehabilitation education (AdA-ReZA)
Experience in the area of communal catering
Experience in staff management and social skills
Business management skills
Confident handling of IT applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Driver’s license (class B)
