The Congregation of the Poor School Sisters of Our Lady is a Catholic religious order that operates a high school, a middle school, an elementary school, several daycare centers, and retirement homes.
For our motherhouse in Munich on St.-Jakobsplatz, we are seeking a part-time
Cook (m/f/d)
with a weekly work schedule of 25 to 30 hours to prepare meals for 30 nuns.
Your responsibilities will include, among other things:
- Shopping, placing orders, and preparing meals, salads, desserts, and cakes
- Creating meal plans
- Compliance with HACCP guidelines and hygiene and quality standards
- Routine and deep cleaning of the kitchen area together with the kitchen team
- Supervising kitchen assistants
What we expect from you:
- Completed training as a chef (m/f/d)
- Knowledge of food preparation, food cost calculation, weekly menu planning, and hygiene regulations
- Enjoy working as part of a team (kitchen management and kitchen assistants)
- Ability to work independently, autonomously, and in a structured manner
- Willingness to work on weekends and holidays and in a two-shift schedule
- Flexibility, motivation, and dedication
